The Wall Mounted Transmitters have two distinct applications. They can be installed to provide supplementary control stations for groups of Receiver Modules within the main network at convenient locations some distance from the primary controller. They can also be used to control loads on circuits that are independent of the main network. Wall Transmitters fit easily into any standard wall box. Up to four Wall Mounted Transmitters can be ganged together in a single four-gang box. Two five inch black and white leads are provided for direct connection to the HOT and NEUTRAL AC conductors. Each Wall Mounted Transmitter has the same basic body. The Letter and Number Code Dials are on the body underneath the keypad. The Code Dials are best set to the proper address before installation in the box. All Wall Mounted Transmitters are operated manually. Each Wall Mounted Transmitter is controlled by means of a plug-in keypad to perform certain specific functions.
This wall mounted transmitter sends powerline command signals to X10 and A10 Receiver Modules, which switch their designated loads. Signals are transmitted to Receiver Modules over existing AC power lines, so dedicated wiring for the system components is not necessary. Four keypad models can also send ALL LIGHTS ON and ALL UNITS OFF commands.
