The HA09 Handy Remote Controller is a Z-Wave™ enabled device and is fully compatible with any Home Settings network and any ZWave™ enabled network. Z-Wave™ enabled devices displaying the Z-Wave™ logo can also be used with Home Settings modules and controllers regardless of the manufacturer, and Home Settings modules and controllers can also be used in other manufacturer’s ZWave™ enabled networks. Each module in a Home Settings network is designed to act as a repeater. Repeaters can re-transmit the RF signal to ensure that the signal is received by its intended destination by routing the signal around obstacles and radio dead spots.

Use this remote to control your Z-Wave lights and appliances remotely. Supports up to 6 groups of devices. Each group can contain up to 16 devices. For example, pressing button 1 ON will turn ON all 16 devices and pressing button 1 OFF will turn them all off. If the devices are dimmable, you can hold down the ON and OFF buttons to brighten and dim your lights. While the remote will only control up to 96 devices, it will learn up to 232 devices for us with HomeSeer. The remote can be used to add any Z-Wave device to your system. You can then copy the device information to HomeSeer so HomeSeer can control your devices. Use this procedure with the HA22 PC interface. If you are using the Z-Troller PC interface, you do not need to copy the device information.
