Whether your a seasoned DIY'r or new to home automation, SmartLinc - INSTEON Plug-In Starter Kit has everything you need to experience remote control of lights and appliances from inside your home, on your way home from the office, or halfway around the world on vacation.

The SmartLinc Central Controller connects to an existing router (required) allowing for direct communication via the Internet or Wi-Fi from an iPhone, iPod touch or any other Web-enabled PC, Phone or PDA. With SmartLinc, you can check to see if you've left the lights on and even turn them off while you're at the office or you can simply dim the lights while relaxing on your couch.

Included are two lamp modules which will each control a plug-in dimmable lamp and an On/Off module which will control a plug-in non-dimmable fluorescent light or appliance .
From your web-enabled device, you can control the modules individually or as "scenes."
