Take advantage of integrating a wireless security system with INSTEON and/or X10 home automation devices. The SecureLinc Web-Enabled Home Security System operates as the backbone for this kit, allowing you to setup and program devices.

A wireless motion sensor and two wireless magnetic door/window contact sensors are included to get you started with your home security. An X10 interface module will allow for communication with the included INSTEON ApplianceLinc module and SwitchLinc Relay switch.

A pendant and a keyfob have also been included to remotely arm or disarm the security system or to remotely control an INSTEON or X10 controlled device. Using all of these items together will provide you with enhanced security and automation.

Program your lights to flash when the alarm is tripped or turn on a light when a motion sensor detects movement or when a magnetic door contact is broken. Use the keyfob to turn on your lights as you approach your home and/or to turn lights on/off as you arm/disarm your system.

You can even setup a lighting schedule using the SecureLinc's Scheduler to automatically turn on or off your perimeter or night lights for added security.

The SecureLinc system is also web-enabled, by adding a PowerLink Web Interface Controller, you will be able to remotely control your entire system via the Internet. This expandable kit is a great way to start protecting and automating your home.

Important Note: If you do not have an INSTEON or X10 home automation system currently in place, a phase coupler may be required for communication to INSTEON or X10 devices. This system does not send out INSTEON signals, however it can control INSTEON devices using X-10 communication protocol.
