Reliability – In testing with Oak Ridge National Laboratory the Simple Control SC-5E issues 20,000 commands a week with reliability of 99.999%. Using top quality components the SC-5E is designed for reliability and low power usage, consuming less than 35 watts when in peak demand.
Interface – Access for the end user is available remotely to monitor the activity of the home or business. Up to two remote users can access the controller simultaneously.
Self Learning – Over time the controller learns how long it takes to heat or cool based on the outside temperature, setpoint, and inside temperature. Energy usage is minimized by only heating or cooling the minimum time to achieve a comfortable temperature before you arrive.
Programming – Because the heart of the system is the remote energy management service, there is no need to learn any type of programming language.
