The AMP-704 is an addressable (AML) module that can be used to add up to 4 AML inputs. It connects to the 2-wire addressable polling loop of the PC4020 or PC5100 module. The 2-wire loop provides both power and communication.

The AMP-704 Point Interface Module (PIM) can be used to connect up to 4 non-powered or externally powered hardwired devices. The four inputs and cover tamper are enrolled as individual zones on the control panel. Zone supervision is selectable using jumpers for NC, single EOL or double EOL resistors.

Addressable burglary and fire detectors cannot be connected to the same addressable loop unless the burglary detectors are isolated from thefire detectors using an AML-770 or AMX-400 module.
