The AMX-400 is an addressable (AML) loop isolator and regenerator module. It can be connected to the AML loop on a MAXSYS panel or thePC5100 module.
The module requires 12VDC. It will regenerate AML signals to extend maximum wiring lengths. The module also isolates the AML loop. If a
problem is detected (such as a short) the module will effectively disconnect the loop from the system so that the rest of the AML loop is
unaffected.
A maximum of 4 AMX-400 modules can be wired in series on any AML loop.
