The New Vizia RF + Plug-in Serial Interface Module RS232 (VRC0P-1LW) supports "beaming" which is the ability to communicate with battery operated frequently listening nodes (FLIRS) such as Door Locks and Sensors. Other new features include the ability to program areas, support up to 128 groups and control the speed at which the RS232 communicates. The new VRC0P-1LW provides status updates on in-wall controllers and supports the association of Vizia RF + dimmers and switches. This is ASCII based and requires a high level of programming skill.
