The ApplianceLinc V2 works with legacy X10 products. If you have an existing X10 network, the ApplianceLinc V2 is a good choice. It works with your X10 products and provides an upgrade path to an INSTEON network.

INSTEON Compatible -
The ApplianceLinc V2 is fully INSTEON compatible. INSTEON is a new powerful, home-control networking technology. INSTEON messages are transmitted throughout the home both wirelessly and through the home's existing wiring. All INSTEON messages are confirmed and repeated by INSTEON devices in the network, contributing to the outstanding reliability and performance of INSTEON products. The more INSTEON enabled products that are installed, the more robust the network becomes.

Pass-Through Outlet -
In addition to the INSTEON-controlled outlet on the bottom, ApplianceLinc V2 offers a 15-amp non INSTEON-controlled outlet on the face. Now you won't have to unplug your appliance modules just to find a place to plug-in the vacuum cleaner.

Scene Capability -
Like our line of INSTEON SwitchLinc and LampLinc receivers, ApplianceLinc V2 Module is fully compatible with whole-house lighting scenes activated by a single INSTEON signal. For example, if you activate a "Movietime" scene that dims all the lights in the house, you can have the ApplianceLinc V2 turn on a room fan for that complete movie theater effect. Or if you activate a "Relaxation" scene that fills your home with ambient lighting, you can have the ApplianceLinc V2 turn on a cascading fountain.

Durable Construction -
The ApplianceLinc V2's INSTEON serial address is burned in during programming and is inerasable and unchangeable. Don't worry about losing the address when the power is lost. All settings are stored in non-volatile memory, which means everything will be retained during a power outage. In fact, ApplianceLinc V2 is so smart it will automatically return the load to the same status it was at when the power was lost. So, if the ApplianceLinc V2 was controlling a table fan when the power went off, it will come back on when the power is restored.

Status LED -
Get a visual indication when ApplianceLinc V2 is sending or receiving INSTEON or X10 signals. The Status LED is also used for set up programming.

Built with the Same Super Quiet Relay as the X10 ApplianceLinc -
Because the ApplianceLinc V2 is built with a much quieter relay than most remote control ON/OFF modules, it has a click that's more than 80% quieter than traditional relay switches. This allows you to remotely control lights and other non-dimmable devices without waking up the baby, annoying other family members, or sending your cat fleeing across the room. The click of the internal relay is barely audible.

Fully X10 Ready -
ApplianceLinc V2 is fully INSTEON compatible and X10 ready. Homeowners with existing X10 networks can easily migrate to an INSTEON network without having to discard all their existing X10 devices. Please note that INSTEON devices repeat INSTEON signals and not X10.

Selectable Local Control -
ApplianceLinc V2 modules offer a local control function, or the ability to turn lamps or appliances directly at the appliance, without the need for a transmitter.

Two-Way Ready -
ApplianceLinc V2 will provide intelligent controllers with status feedback, which is great for web and other "truly" remote control applications.

15 Amp Capacity -
Maximum load is 15-amps for resistive loads, 480-watts for incandescent and inductive loads.

Power Failure Memory -
All ApplianceLinc V2 settings are stored in non-volital memory and are not lost during power failures.
