I/O Expansion Port:
Aux bus supports up to 4 CSIOX I/O boards, each with 8 relay/16 Digitial/8 Analog inputs. Also supports IR Xpander for bi-directional IR control.

OnQ ALC Switch port:
Supports 31 OnQ ALC light switches and dimmers.

CommStar Network and TRUE Star Wiring Hub:
The CS308 includes an 8 Channel RS485 Star wiring hub. This allows home run wiring to each device and is ideal for structured wiring installations. Each channel is driven by a separate RS485 driver which allows each line to be up to 4000 ft long. This is a true star wiring hub with no termination issues. The CommStar Network is 4 wire, 2 for data, 2 for power. The hub can provide power to 12VDC network devices, up to 800ma total.

RS485 Expansion:
Additional external 8AH485 star wiring hubs can be cascaded off the internal hub for 64 channels.

Commstar Network Peripherals:
The CS308 RS485 CommStar network controls Keypads, Thermostats, Zone Controls, Sensors, Relays and many other RS485 network products. The CS308 has built-in support for:
32 -Thermostats/sensors
16 - KPL7 Keypads
16 - KPG8 Keypads
16 - 8 Channel Relay Control Units
16 - 8 Channel Digital Input Control Units

WinEVM PC Host Software:
Included with the CS308 is the powerful PC Windows based WinEVM software. WinEVM provides for setup and control of the CS308 NCU and network devices. This allows the creation of an integrated network of devices and subsystems via schedules and IF/THEN/ELSE macros. Once created on a PC, these schedules are downloaded into the NCU program memory. While not required to run the NCU, WinEVM can remain connected to the NCU to monitor and directly control the network from the PC.
