Simply Automated V3WAY-B Anywhere 3-Way 2-Rocker Wall Switch Kit

The Simply Automated Anywhere 3-Way 2-Rocker Wall Switch Kit provides an exceptionally flexible solution for creating 3-way control for a single light, plus additional direct and remote control options for a second light or other Anywhere devices in the home. The kit includes two On/Off light switches (120VAC/60Hz) that communicate with each other over the existing powerlines, rather than a dedicated traveler wire, making it easy to install. The kit is perfect for controlling lighting in a hallway, stairway, or any other location where two switch locations for one light can enhance convenience.

How the Switches Work

1-Rocker Switch:

The 1-rocker switch connects to the main light fixture you want to add 3-way control to. Once the kit is setup, you'll be able to turn the light on/off with both this switch and the included 2-rocker switch.

This switch provides both local control over the connected light, as well as remote control over the other Simply Automated Anywhere devices (sold separately) in your home set to Channel 1. You could set only one device to Channel 1, for example, to control just that device, or you could set a group of devices to Channel 1 to control an entire scene with just one switch.

It is important to note that the switch not only controls Channel 1, but is also set to respond as a Channel 1 device. Therefore, if more than one of these US2-V0 Series Switches is installed in a home, every Channel 1 rocker will control this switch's local load.

2-Rocker Switch:

Set to Channel 1, the bottom rocker of the 2-rocker switch provides remote control over the light connected to the 1-rocker switch, as well as any other Simply Automated Anywhere devices (sold separately) in your home set to Channel 1.

The top rocker directly controls a second wired light and responds to remote Anywhere commands from other Anywhere transmitters, allowing you to add remote control to the connected light. The top rocker also controls all Anywhere devices set to Channel 2.

It is important to note that the top rocker not only controls Channel 2, but is also set to respond as a Channel 2 device. Therefore, if more than one of these US2-V0 Series Switches is installed in a home, every Channel 2 rocker will control all of these switches' local loads simultaneously.

Supports Most Lighting Loads

These professional grade switches feature a patented heat sink design to ensure cool operation and long life, as well as thermal overload protection for safety. They support incandescent, fluorescent, halogen, LED, magnetic and electronic low-voltage lighting transformers and ballasts up to 900W.

Foundation for 4-Way or 5-Way Control

Each switch replaces an existing light switch in a standard single-gang box, and connects to your existing switch wires (white neutral wire connection required). Using Simply Automated's advanced powerline communication technology, each switch transmits over 1 mile on 14 gauge wire. To create a 4-way, 5-way, or more switch, install the Simply Automated Anywhere 4- or More-Way Add-On Switch (US1-V0, sold separately).
